1997 US Open Superstar Champions - Robert Royston and Laureen Baldovi (WCS)

Famous "Fever" Routine by Robert Royston and Laureen Baldovi. Considered the "first" foray into 'slow' WCS and beat out some extremely high level competitors' routines, including Wayne & Sharlot Bott and Brent & Kellese Key. The Superstar Division was started by the US Open as a way to give previous US Open winners a chance to compete against each other, and allow upcoming Champion dancers an opportunity to win Classic and Showcase routines as well.
