Margaret met Chazz in Norma Millers Jazz Dancers Group of which Chazz was a member and Margaret was an understudy. She then met Frankie when hew came in to watch rehearsal one day and Margaret started dancing and performing with Frankie. Margaret also met Charlie Meade through Norma at one of the shows, where Norma introduced them and she encouraged them to dance in the contest there which they won - and Margaret and Charlie have been dancing ever since! Margaret has taught not only Swing but Ballroom, West Coast Swing and Country Western at MSNS and performed with other partners through the years at MSDNS including John Festa, Sonny Allen, and Charlie Meade This version of Stomping at the Savoy, Ron Allen, leader of the harlem Renaissance Orchestra, tells us, was arranged especially for Frankie and the Shim Sham by the drummer of the HRO about 10 years ago.
